Maintaining a strong social media presence was essential for Children’s Hospice South West to ensure the charity continued to present a strong case for the need for donations and fundraising during the beginning of the UK’s Covid 19 lockdown period. As all fundraising events were cancelled due to social distancing limitations, the ‘Be Incredible’ social media presence was created to give the charity the opportunity to present a positive, hopeful message of need to its supporters and turn them all into superheroes.
_£10k raised so far by Be Incredible campaign.
_697 members of the Children’s Hospice South West Be Incredible facebook group.
_200 downloads of Be Incredible assets from the event web page.
The Be Incredible facebook group quickly grew to nearly 700 members, providing a direct platform for the charity to promote virtual fundraising events, while reminding supporters of the unique and significant cause of this charity. It also allowed supporters to share fundraising ideas, encourage each other to raise more money and feel united at a very isolated time.
The colourful, energetic brand design encouraged the feeling of being part of this proactive and passionate club of super people. It was designed with versatility in mind so it could be applied to a variety of social media applications and downloadable assets, have stand out and provide a positive, uplifting call to action during a very negative, uncertain time.
The super heroes angle to the design allowed for brand add-ons as virtual fundraising continues during lock-down.
